Reflections on Independence Then and Now

Join us for a thought-provoking panel discussion exploring the ideas that shaped our nation. Inspired by Richard Henry Lee’s historic Resolution for Independence and the Declaration of Independence, this engaging program will examine what these founding documents meant in 1776—and what they continue to mean for us today. The event will feature a moderator-led reading of key excerpts followed by a lively discussion with three expert panelists, concluding with an audience Q&A. A matinee program is planned, with the possibility of an evening session based on public interest. This event is FREE and open to the public, but seats are limited.d
